Although this was our best season winning 7, losing 2 and 1 tie, it was a very frustrating season as there was huge break in our season beyond our control and a change in the league playoff structure meant that only one team from each division made the play offs so the Sharks missed out.
The Cornish Sharks continued their excellent record in their second season with 7 out of 10 games won again, progressing once again to the playoffs where they beat Peterborough to continue to the quarter finals. Here they met the eventual National Champions, the Cobras who called a halt to their campaign for 2008.
2007
The Cornish Sharks record in 2007 was extraordinary for a new team in the league.
They played 10 games and won 7, made the playoffs only to lose by 1 touchdown to the eventual Champions, the Norwich Devils.
The Defense achieved a wonderful result being ranked No. 2 in the Country in Div. 2, missing the number 1 spot by only 8 points. Again, a record for a new team to the league.
